I have been using Fedora 20 as my desktop and laptop work environments recently, and so far I have to say I quite like it, its very quick and easy to use, and all of the various programs I use for work are all available to install on it.
It detected my triple monitor setup via Eyefinity with out any problems.
I have added Google Chrome, Skype, Yumex and some other tools to the default line up of software which it ships with, without too much of a problem thanks largley to an active community, forums, and lots of tutorials and guides out there on how to do everything.
